CROSS BORDER SYNDICATED LENDING FOR TELECOM
In a sophisticated international transaction, Halkin Investments played a pivotal role in advising a client in securing acquisition funding for a substantial stake in a Pakistani-registered submarine fiber optic cable operator from an Egyptian seller. The funding structure involved a combination of equity and structured debt facilities, sourced from both a consortium of Pakistani banks and a bilateral bridge finance arrangement with collateral held against assets in the UAE.
